Rock ‘n’ Roll Nashville Marathon Description

The Rock ‘n’ Roll Nashville Marathon tours Music City each April, passing Broadway, Music Row, Nissan Stadium, and stretches along the Cumberland River. The Boston-qualifying course carries rolling hills throughout, offset by live bands, cheer squads, and enthusiastic crowds stationed along the entire route. A half marathon runs alongside the full distance, both part of the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series’ signature music-and-running combination.

Rock ‘n’ Roll Nashville Marathon Additional Details:

Finisher medals here take their cue from Nashville’s music history, styled after vintage vinyl records rather than a standard disc. After crossing the line, runners pass through a secured finish area where photos, water, and refreshments wait before medals are handed out. Aid stations show up every 1.5 to 2 miles with water, electrolyte drink, and gels at select stops, backed by the Rock ‘n’ Roll series’ trademark live bands and entertainers performing along the entire course. The route itself doubles as a tour of downtown Nashville and Music Row, passing the Tennessee State Capitol, Vanderbilt University, and Centennial Park along the way.
